WordPress (without WooCommerce)
Beta
For WordPress sites without WooCommerce: create a payment link in Gully Pay and paste the button snippet into a Custom HTML block. No plugin to install. A WordPress shortcode plugin is not available yet.
Beta
Works today with the HTML button. A dedicated shortcode/block plugin is not built yet.
Install
- Button snippet: generated in the dashboard embed builder (Integrations → this integration).
Setup
- Create a payment link and button (In the Gully Pay dashboard)
- Open the Install step of this integration in the Gully Pay dashboard.
- Enter the product name and price, then create the payment link.
- Pick the button label and style. The preview shows exactly what your customers will see.
- Copy the button snippet.
- Paste the button into WordPress (On your platform)
- Edit the page or post in the block editor.
- Add a Custom HTML block (press + and search for "Custom HTML").
- Paste the snippet, preview it, then Update or Publish.
- Make a test payment (In the Gully Pay dashboard)
- Run the Test step: it opens a small hosted checkout. Pay it from any wallet.
- The step completes when Gully Pay records the checkout.session.completed event.
What the setup wizard creates
- A webhook endpoint (optional) for
checkout.session.completed, with its own signing secret. - The key and signing secret are shown once. Running Connect again revokes the old key and disables the old endpoint.
The Test step opens a real hosted checkout (default $1.00) for your store. It completes when the signed checkout.session.completed webhook reaches your endpoint with a 2xx answer, or, without an endpoint, when the payment shows in the dashboard event viewer.
